SCAN ANGEL GROUPS
The South Carolina Angel Network is an affiliation of the leading angel groups in South Carolina. These groups consist of more than 200 individual angel investors that meet frequently to analyze the best early stage companies from around our region - and support them with their financial and intellectual capital.

The Upstate Carolina Angel Network is a Greenville-based group of over 50 investors. Since its launch in 2008, it has invested over $15 million in 52 portfolio companies, and in 2014 was named the 8th best angel group in the United States.
Capital Angels was formed in 2014 to serve the angels in the Midlands of South Carolina. A membership based group of nearly 40 of the area's most successful business leaders and entrepreneurs, Capital Angels began making its first investments in the summer of 2014.
Launched in January 2015, Spartanburg Angels brings SCAN's proven angel network model to Spartanburg. With over 25 members, the group is well established and supports both local companies like Atlas Organics and the best companies across the southeast.
Electric City Angels launched in Anderson in the spring of 2015 and made its first investment in the summer. It is a great example of how a smaller community can bring local entrepreneurial spirit and investors into a statewide infrastructure for angel investing.
Central Savannah River Angels (CSR Angels) launched in the fall of 2015 as a partnership between SCAN and a team of local supporters in Aiken and Augusta.
Carolina Tech Angels launched in the winter of 2015 and is a partnership between SCAN and a group of local supporters in the Rock Hill, Charlotte, and Fort Mill areas.
Grand Strand Angels launched in 2016.
Salt Marsh Angels launched in Hilton Head in 2016.
